Research Interests:
Dr Chen’s research focuses on plasmonics, metamaterials, topological photonics, silicon photonics, and their applications. He has authored and co-authored more than 60 research papers in journals such as Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Laser & Photonics Reviews, Advanced Optical Materials, Physical Review Applied, Physical Review B, Optics Letters, Optics Express, Applied Physics Letters, IEEE Journal of Lightwave technology and so on. These papers have received more than 1500 times citations from Science, Nature Photonics, Nature Review Materials, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters and so on. Since 2010, his research work has been supported by National Key Research and Development Project of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and industrial programs.
Social Affiliations:
Dr Chen is a recipient of the second prize of Natural Science Award of Hubei province in 2020, and currently a member of Optica/SPIE/Chinese Optical Society. He has been invited to serve as an Associate editor for Optical Materials Express (a journal published by Optica), and a youth editorial board member for ACTA PHOTONICA SINICA.
