Wuhan Optoelectronics Forum 89: Solution processed solar cells using oligomer-like donor materials with high performance

Time:Jun 13, 2019

WUHAN, China (December 18, 2014) - Wuhan Optoelectronics Forum No. 89 was successfully held in Auditorium A101 at Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO) in the afternoon of December 18.

Combining both of the advantages of conventional organic small molecules and polymers, a series of small molecules for OPV applications have been designed and their OPV devices fabricated using solution processing have been studied and high performance with >9% PCE has been achieved. Also, our strategy and the perspective for this direction will be presented.

Dr Yongsheng Chen graduated from the University of Victoria with PhD in Chemistry in 1997 with Prof Reg Mitchell and joined Prof Robert Haddon/Peter Eklund and Prof Fred Wudl groups for Postdoc studies from 1997-1999. From 2004, he has been a Tianjin Chair Professor at Nankai University, Director for the Center of Nanoscale of Science and Technology.
