Prof. Hou first introduced working process, history and challenges for obtaining high performance of organic solar cells. Then, he introduced series of materials designed by their research group toward high performance, good stability and indoor applications of organic cells. He also shared their understanding on the relation of exciton dissociation and electronegativity on the surface of the donor/acceptor materials. Excitingly, Prof. shared their most recent novel results of cells with power conversion efficiency over 20%. At the end, he discussed the future and applications of organic solar cells.
A fruitful discussion was followed by the d Prof. Hou and the audience from WNLO, School of Chemistry, etc. This Forum was simultaneously shared online. Over 2000 persons attended this talk online.
