WUHAN, China (November 19, 2015) - Wuhan Optoelectronics Forum No. 108 was successfully held in Auditorium A101 at Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics (WNLO) in the morning of November 19.
Liquid crystal display has a huge industrial application. For decades, we focused on the optical manipulation of liquid crystal material in different optical bands. In this talk, I will introduce some important progress in liquid crystal optical devices and applications in our group. We develop an angular orientation of micro liquid crystal based on digital microlens array (DMD), then we introduce the diffractive characteristics, and application in optical tweezers, OAM, and quantum information processing.
