Abstract:
The micro/nano structures belong to glass optical components and composed of large quantity of three-dimensional structure arrays or lens arrays with cell feature size of several hundreds of nanometers to several tens of micrometers, thus have special geometric optical characteristics and mainly used for high precision three-dimensional positioning and high-definition three-dimensional imaging. This report focuses on the high-efficiency precision glass molding technology of optical micro/nano structures with the manufacturing goals of minimal cell feature size, extremely large area, highest precision and complex shape. The new mold materials fabrication, ultra-precision micro/nano cutting and precision press forming are the technical means to achieve these goals. Thus in this report, the fabrication methods of mold materials, ultra-precision manufacturing of micro/nano mold by cutting, on-machine measurement technology, glass molding technology and the corresponding characterization evaluation methods would be introduced in detail. Through theoretical and technological innovations, the high-efficiency, ultra-precision and cross-scale manufacturing of large-area and high-quantity-density glass optical micro/nano structures could be realized.
